I am an Associate in the Intellectual Property Group in London, with a focus on contentious IP work in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.
Having a degree in Biomedical Sciences and being curious about how things work mechanically, intellectual property is a fascinating area of law to work in.
I am experienced in contentious work across all of the IP rights, including patents, designs, copyright and trade marks. I have worked on matters in the English High Court (including the Patents Court and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court) and Court of Appeal, and in international arbitration proceedings. I also have experience with transactional IP matters.
At Bird & Bird, my practice is focused on contentious work in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector, where I assist our clients with a variety of IP disputes. An example of a recent case I worked on is a patent entitlement dispute relating to DNA production.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I trained and qualified at Wiggin LLP. As a trainee, I completed seats in the Betting & Gaming, Corporate, IP and Digital Commerce departments, and gained invaluable commercial experience in commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and M&A transactions.
