Amanda Olsson

I am an associate in our Dispute Resolution Group in Helsinki, where I specialise in commercial disputes and white collar crime cases.

I advise our clients on litigation, commercial arbitration and criminal proceedings. In addition, I advise clients on regulatory issues and contractual matters.

I joined Bird & Bird as a trainee during my studies in 2018. Prior to graduating from the University of Helsinki, I gained extensive work experience at two major law firms in Helsinki and as an intern at the department of crime investigation and prevention at the Police of Finland. My work has included everything from legal research to drafting appeals to the Supreme Court. I have also had the chance to participate in high profile civil and white collar crime cases as well as in arbitral proceedings.

I speak fluent English in addition to my native Finnish and Swedish. As a lawyer, I have been characterised as persistent, practical and trustworthy. At work, I enjoy demanding projects and challenging myself to think outside the box, as well as working with amazing colleagues and clients. In my free time, I usually head out into nature or the crossfit gym.
