Andrea Semmola

I am a senior associate in our Finance & Financial Regulation department based in Milan, with a specific focus on the energy sector.

I focus on financing, project financing and M&A, assisting Italian and foreign financial institutions and companies in cross-border and domestic transactions, with a particular focus on renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

In the latest years, I have been involved in many landmark financing and refinancing transactions in the renewable space. Moreover, I have gained extensive experience in drafting key energy contracts including EPC, O&M and PPA.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked for an Italian and international law firm focusing on the energy sector and as Senior Legal Counsel M&A and Energy Transition for one of the largest Utility in Italy.
