Ariadna Sanmartín

I am an associate in our Finance & Financial Regulation department in the Madrid office.

I specialise in providing legal and regulatory advice on financial transactions and financial regulation.

I have participated in various financial transactions, including both domestic and cross-border corporate financing, real estate financing, project finance, and refinancing and restructuring proceedings, advising both lenders and borrowers.

Additionally, I provide regulatory advice to credit institutions, payment institutions, electronic money institutions, insurers, investment firms, investment funds and fund managers, in relation to their incorporation, authorisation, and the provision of domestic and cross-border financial services.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I started my professional career as a lawyer in the Banking and Finance area of an international law firm and completed an internship in the corporate area of another international law firm.
