Caroline Arrighi-Savoie

As a senior associate in the Commercial group, I am specifically in charge of healthcare and life sciences issues.

For the past 8 years, I have been advising companies in the healthcare and life sciences sector on the full range of issues they face at every stage of their products' life cycle, from the R&D phase through to product commercialisation.

My practice particularly covers clinical trials, market access and product regulation, commercial contracts and other strategic partnerships (e.g. collaboration, distribution, manufacturing, supply agreements, etc.), relations with healthcare professionals/organisations/patients, advertising and communication, digital health and investigations conducted by the authorities (e.g. ANSM, DGCCRF).

In the course of my experience, I have also worked with several companies to conduct regulatory audits as part of their M&A operations.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in the Life Sciences teams of other international law firms. I also completed several secondments with companies in the healthcare sector, which enabled me to gain a better understanding of the practical challenges faced by operational teams.

In addition to my work at Bird & Bird, I am a member of the Comité de Protection des Personnes (CPP) 'Ile-de-France I', in charge of the legal assessment of clinical trial dossiers.
