Chloe Corne

I am a lawyer in our Competition and Commercial Group in Sydney.

As a dedicated and diligent lawyer at Bird & Bird Sydney, I thrive in tackling complex and challenging legal matters. Since joining the firm as a participant in the 2022 clerkship program, I have gained experience across multiple practice areas, including Corporate, Dispute Resolution, Employment and Competition and Regulatory. At university, I obtained a degree in Security Studies alongside my Law degree, broadening my understanding of geopolitics and enabling me to consider the broader policy implications of various legal matters.

My passion for law stems from my love of writing and research. I have worked on challenging telecommunications matters, provided strategic advice to clients, and drafted several thought-provoking articles on competition-related issues.

After finishing school, I spent a year living abroad, immersing myself in a different culture and learning a new language. During my time at university, I gained valuable experience working at several legal firms and served as the Australian correspondent, specialising in politics and economics, for a leading Japanese newspaper.
