About Me

I am an associate in our Intellectual Property Group in Singapore. My practice covers both the contentious and non-contentious aspects of intellectual property, with a particular focus on enforcement and dispute resolution.

I have represented both local and international clients in a wide variety of matters before the Singapore State Courts and Supreme Courts, including patent infringement, breach of confidence, trade mark infringement and passing off matters. I also have experience in advising and coordinating multi-jurisdictional IP disputes, and have successfully led my own contentious matters before the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore ("IPOS"), such as trade mark oppositions, revocations and invalidations.

In addition, I have advised on and assisted with contentious domain name matters at ICANN and MYNIC. I also regularly assist with anti-counterfeiting investigations and online take-down notices for prominent local and multi-national companies.

On the non-contentious front, I have experience in the protection, management and commercialisation of intellectual property rights and assets, including preparing and reviewing franchise agreements, licence agreement, as well as online user agreements, terms of service and privacy policies for online e-commerce platforms. I also help clients with trade mark portfolio management and trade mark prosecution.

My extensive experience in both the contentious and non-contentious IP work makes me well-suited to understand and meet my clients' needs. I have worked with clients from a wide spectrum of fields, such as prominent social media and technology companies, filmmakers, app developers, e-commerce platforms, blockchain and crypto technology companies, multinational food and beverage companies and healthcare companies.
