Dan Noakes

I am the Head of Responsible Business, based in London, leading on the firm's global responsible business strategy.

I have over ten years' experience working with a range of clients including corporates, UHNWs and family offices, in deploying multi-million pounds of capital for social good, which included ESG investing, social and impact investing, philanthropy, loans and grants. I worked with my clients to create long-lasting, impactful and sustainable portfolios and programmes globally.

I am also experienced in implementing Business Development and engagement strategies within the professional services industry working with some of the largest law firms, asset managers and accountancy firms globally to develop mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I was the Head of ESG Operations and Business Development at another global law firm for nearly 4 years, where my responsibilities included implementing their first ESG strategy, embedding responsible business practices and supporting clients to implement and achieve their own strategies and programmes.
