Daniela Green

I am a Data Protection Advisor in the Privacy Solutions team of Bird & Bird in London.

I have a master's degree in law (Mag.iur) from the University of Vienna and am CIPP/E certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. I also hold the Austrian certification as a Data Protection Officer.

I particularly enjoy working closely with clients and have extensive experience in project management and the implementation of privacy programs in global organizations.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in the data protection and confidentiality department of an international consultancy company in Vienna, where I was responsible for implementing and monitoring the internal data protection programme and advised on a broad range of compliance related topics. I was particularly entrusted with data subject right procedures and processes, the creation and updating of privacy policies and documents, incident response management and mitigation as well as general commercial or employment law related issues.

Prior to that, I worked as an Associate in the employment law practice group of an international law firm in Austria, where I gained practical legal experience. This experience contributes to my comprehensive understanding of Austrian and European regulations. My specific knowledge of employment law also contributes to a good understanding of data protection requirements in the context of human resources.
