About Me

As a counsel of the Bird & Bird office in Slovakia, I offer more than 13 years of experience supporting clients on real estate, corporate, commercial and related M&A matters.

My core professional focus is focusing on complex transactions including sales and acquisitions of companies, projects and developments, investments, financing, litigation and leasing in the real estate, logistics and construction, and energy sectors.

My speciality is strategic advisory on domestic and cross-border matters for both high-profile international and Slovak clients. I have advised clients in a spectrum of industries from logistics and engineering companies, multi-national retailers, e–retailers and manufacturers, particularly in the automotive sector, to real estate funds, foreign and domestic investors, private equity firms, and asset management companies.

My 8-month secondment to a British multinational automobile manufacturer has enabled me to provide answers to clients' questions in the right form, manner and time.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in another reputable international law firm.
Experience
  • Advising MOVYS Invest s.r.o., a Slovak company from the MOVYS Group mainly active in the telecommunications industry, on a successful purchase of the company REICO Investment BETA, s.r.o. from a Czech investment fund, REICO ČS NEMOVITOSTNÍ, otevřený podílový fond REICO investiční společnosti České spořitelny, a.s. This transaction also included the acquisition of one of Reico´s real estate assets in Bratislava, an administrative building OfficeBox.
  • As a member of an international team, advising a major Slovak asset management company managing assets worth more than EUR 2.1 billion mainly in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland on its acquisition of 100% of shares in the Luxembourg company HB Reavis Investment Management S.à r.l., which manages the fund HB Reavis CE REIF, from the seller HBR IM Holding Ltd. HB Reavis CE REIF has under management retail and office buildings in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic which had a total value of more than EUR 300 million at the end of 2023.
  • Advising a major Slovak Property Fund in the process of acquisition of the Office Centre Twin City A Building.
  • Advising a major Slovak Property Fund in the process of acquisition of the Business Centre Laugaricio in Trenčín - (awarded as Slovak Real Estate Transaction of the Year 2016).
  • As a member of an international team, advising Gramercy Europe, acting through its fund Gramercy Property Europe III, on the successful acquisition of the KiK Logistics Centre near Dunajská Streda, Slovakia, from Go Asset and ECE European City Estates.
