About Me

I am an associate in our Competition team in London. My practice focuses on all aspects of EU, UK and Irish competition law and regulation, including merger control, national security filings, abuse of dominance and investigations. I am Irish and UK qualified.

I have significant expertise in competition enforcement having previously worked as a Legal Adviser at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). At the CMA, I advised on a range of antitrust, cartel and policy matters including a number of Competition Act investigations into suspected anti-competitive behaviour, digital matters including the CMA's market investigation in respect of mobile browsers and cloud gaming, as well as a number of other projects, including the CMA's guidance on horizontal agreements.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I also worked for a number of years at a leading Irish law firm, A&L Goodbody, advising on a range of EU and Irish competition law, merger control and competition litigation matters, across a number of sectors.

I have in-depth experience conducting and advising on complex investigations involving Irish, UK and European authorities, including on dawn-raids and with leniency applications. I also advise on merger control, including Phase I and Phase II investigations and help clients with the design and implementation of compliance strategies and regulatory risk mitigation.
