Eu Jin Ong

I'm a dual-qualified (England & Wales and Singapore) solicitor in the Intellectual Property team in London, and specialise in Brand Management.

I advise on all aspects of brand protection, including clearance searches, international filing strategies, and various contentious proceedings before IP offices (oppositions, invalidations, and revocations). I also assist clients with other brand-related matters, such as domain name disputes and platform takedown requests.

Aside from brand-related work, I have experience in advising on various transactional and commercial matters with an IP focus, including licensing agreements (particularly in the software sector), assignments, key IP contributor service and consultancy agreements, and IP due diligence.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I practised in the IP & Commercial team in the London office of a large national law firm. Prior to that, I was based in sunny Singapore, where I specialised in brand protection and trade mark litigation, as well as patent litigation, in a leading IP boutique.
