I am an indirect taxes expert with a particular focus on EU and domestic VAT.

Over the years, I have developed an in-depth knowledge and experience of indirect tax matters related to both industrial and financial sectors.
I regularly advise multinational groups operating in the industrial and financial sectors on indirect taxes and I assist them during on-site tax audits and subsequent negotiations and settlement agreements with the tax authorities.
Through my experience, I have understood how VAT, as a harmonized tax, can lead to misalignment between national and EU law causing potential risks and disadvantages for companies operating in Italy.
As a member of the Tax team, I give daily support to the other practices of the firm on any indirect taxes issues they may face.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked for leading Italian and international law and tax firms in Rome where I gained significant experience in indirect taxes with a specific focus on VAT.
I speak Italian and English.
