Francesca Redoano

I work as a Consulant in the Corporate department of Bird & Bird. I mainly help teams of researchers, start-ups and innovative SMEs as well as VC funds and Business Angels with a particular focus on investment processes.

Thanks to my professional experience in Silicon Valley and my participation in a research project on close corporations - conducted by the Universities of Bolzano, Trento and Innsbruck - I have acquired, among other things, an in-depth knowledge of convertible financing instruments (Safe, s.f.p., convertible note).

In the areas described above, I mentor teams of researchers and also conduct seminars on behalf of universities, research centres and incubators. This activity allows me, among other things, a direct dialogue and a better understanding of the innovation ecosystem.
I collaborate with several incubators and I am also a partner and jury member of the Liguria Region business plan competition.

My mother tongue is Italian and I speak English.
