Hadrien Espiard

I am a commercial associate in our energy and infrastructure teams in London.

I have spent 6 months training with our International Retail & Consumer team and a further 6 months training with our Real Estate and Construction teams.

I have assisted on a number of regulatory advisory projects helping clients navigate incoming EU and UK legislation, particularly with regard to ESG and have drafted a number of ESG internal policy documents for clients. I am a member of Bird & Bird's ESG working group and have spent time developing an ESG tracking tool to help map out the regulatory landscape for our clients and help them assess compliance risks. I have a particular interest in the intersection between ESG and technology and have assisted in drafting the initial contracts to establish a carbon credit trading platform.

I have worked on a suite of contracts for large retail clients and have conducted due diligence for several projects – both from a commercial and real estate perspective.
