As an Italian and European Patent Attorney, I have assisted many clients in pharma and biotech on contentious and non-contentious patent matters drawing on my deep technical knowledge of the scientific field and consolidated experience of Italian and European patent law.

I'm positive that the advantages of having a high-quality patent portfolio are multifold for any client. Having proper protection for the core development of any organisation strongly impacts litigation outcome, negotiation strength and a return on research & development investment.

With this in mind, I always consider my client's needs and objectives by trying to understand the right strategy to be adopted in all areas of assistance ranging from patent drafting and prosecution, negotiation to litigation. I am very proactive and I enjoy accepting new challenges every day. And, of course, I like to win these challenges!

I have considerable experience handling patent portfolios, providing advice and opinions on patent validity or infringement in the life science sector, most notably in biotechnology, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical fields. I also have some recent experience of in-house assistance for a pharmaceutical company.

In the past 11 years' I have built experience as a technical expert in nullity and infringement suits before the Italian Courts, and in defending and opposing patents in opposition/appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office. In 2016, I obtained the qualification of European Patent Litigator in view of future practice before UPC Court.
