Jakub Kur

I am the Head of the Forensic Technology team within our Forensic Services team in Warsaw. Forensic Services work with B&B lawyers across practices and regions to provide clients with a seamless service in fraud investigations, white collar crime cases and litigation.

I have been advising Polish and international clients on the identification and management of fraud risks and business operations compliance since 2012. I specialise in investigative data analytics, eDiscovery, and the detection of irregularities within the supply chain.

I have completed numerous complex investigative projects involving data and process analyses based on complex financial statements, business information, and other sources, including email correspondence. I have been responsible for projects related to the identification of risk areas within M&A processes, and have also led projects involving the identification and preparation of electronic evidence for litigation and responses to inquiries from regulators in various jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked for over seven years on the forensic services team at one of the Big 4 consultancies, where I led a data analysis investigative team providing services mainly to FMCG and financial sector companies.

I am a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
