I am a technology, media and telecommunications lawyer based in Singapore. I advise a broad range of clients on legal, regulatory, and commercial issues across Asia-Pacific.

I advise clients on a wide range of legal, regulatory and commercial issues, including data protection and privacy, technology and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, strategic collaborations and more.

My practice focuses on commercial and advisory work, with clients hailing from many different backgrounds. My clients range from start-ups to multinational corporations, working in a range of industries such as financial services, healthcare, media, gaming, retail, telecommunications and others. I am continually fascinated and excited by the diversity of the projects I encounter and advise on, and it brings me great satisfaction to help clients achieve their vision.

I have a keen appreciation for the fast-moving, dynamic nature of the technology, media and telecoms industry, as well as the increasingly international nature of the digital space. This presents an abundance of opportunities to be harnessed, but also gives rise to legal and regulatory challenges, where rules, guidelines and laws are continually in flux. With this in mind, I strive to deliver practical, grounded and forward-looking advice to clients to assist them in navigating this exciting, innovative and complex space, driving their success whilst ensuring compliance.

• Advised a major regional ride-hailing platform in embarking on a new collaborative project in Singapore, involving drafting and reviewing the collaboration agreement.
• Advised a multinational restaurant chain on its expansion into the Singapore market, focusing on the migration of its data protection and data handling strategies and policies for domestic application.
• Advised a global retail and commerce company on privacy compliance requirements in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Assisted an institution on navigating a potential data breach incident, including engaging with the regulator during and after the investigation process and drafting a remediation plan to ensure post-incident compliance.
• Advised a major video-gaming company on data protection matters and compliance with gambling and media laws.
