Joanna Rychter

I am an associate in the Intellectual Property team in Warsaw.

I have been advising clients since 2020, specialising in intellectual property law, including patents, supplementary protection certificates, industrial designs, trademarks and copyrights, as well as combating unfair competition and protection of personal rights.

I assist both Polish and international clients at all stages of litigation and administrative proceedings, including before the Polish Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office. I am involved in preparing comprehensive IP strategies.

I participate in major litigations concerning IP infringements, acts of unfair competition and protection of personal interests, as well as proceedings for invalidation of patents and supplementary protection certificates before the Polish Patent Office.

I also have experience in regulatory matters, pharmaceutical law and plant protection products.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained my professional experience in a renowned boutique law firm specialising in IP and life sciences.
