As an associate and part of the Tax Team Germany, I advise clients on German and international tax law.
Tax law has been my professional home since 2012. My career initially began in the Rhineland-Palatinate tax authorities, where I successfully completed a dual study programme at the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in Edenkoben, graduating as a Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH). During my subsequent law studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, I continued to work at the tax office for more than five years, where I was able to gain a lot of valuable practical and theoretical experience, particularly in procedural and insolvency tax law.
As part of my university education, I further expanded my existing knowledge by specialising in tax law as well as corporate and capital market law. A further milestone finally followed with my tax advisor exam, which I successfully completed in 2024/2025.
I advise our clients on a wide range of complex tax issues. My focus is on the taxation of companies, ranging from a wide variety of (corporate) income tax law issues to withholding taxes and VAT, usually with an international dimension. However, other indirect taxes such as real estate transfer tax and excise duties as well as customs law are also part of my daily, highly exciting work. I also deal with specialised issues at the interface between IP and tax law. I also support clients in transactions and in proceedings before the fiscal courts.
