About Me

I am a senior associate in our sports team in London and co-head of our women's sport group. I act primarily for national and international sports governing bodies, federations and other sporting organisations in all types of contentious and regulatory matters across a range of sports including motorsport, tennis, equestrianism, cricket, rugby and football, amongst others.

In particular, my practice involves advising and representing clients in relation to a wide range of matters such as challenges to regulatory decisions, safeguarding matters, disciplinary disputes, anti-doping cases, investigations, rule drafting, governance work, and broader commercial disputes (both litigation and arbitration). I have experience acting for clients in a range of dispute resolution forums including the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Sport Resolutions, the National Anti-Doping Panel, various international arbitration institutions, internal appeal tribunals, as well as the English, DIFC and ADGM courts.

My passion for sport stems from my own sporting background in tennis, where I competed as a junior at the international level and continue to represent my county as an adult. This has provided me with a valuable insight into the sports industry and the issues faced by governing bodies, athletes and clubs.

I am also a passionate diversity and inclusion advocate, particularly on the subject of social mobility, and am proud to co-chair the Bird & Bird social mobility network, Beyond Backgrounds.
