I am a senior associate in our corporate team in Milan. I have extensive experience in advising on significant transactional and corporate matters, with particular focus on M&A, in a variety of transactions involving various industries, including energy, manufacturing, fashion, industrials, automotive and packaging.Working in senior positions, I mainly advise our clients on private M&A transactions, including deal structuring and financing, document drafting, contractual negotiations and process management in various industries like energy, manufacturing, healthcare, industrials, life sciences and information technology.
Before joining the team at Bird & Bird in 2009, I worked for a top-tier Italian firm where I advised on a large number of deals involving major Italian industrial corporations and several US and UK Private Equity investors. I also have experience at a 'magic circle' firm in London where I advised on equity capital market deals and public takeovers of listed companies.
I was also head of the legal and corporate department at a Unicredit-owned real estate asset management company in Turin.
- Advising a diversified manufacturer of engineered products that serve a variety of industrial, commercial and consumer end markets worldwide, in the acquisition of a privately-owned manufacturer of polymeric caps and closures for home care product applications.
- Advising a leading global supplier of lightweighting, noise and vibration solutions, in its acquisition of two companies specialising in the field of aluminum and magnesium casting and stamping.
- Advising the Fortune 200 global supplier of paints, coatings, optical products, specialty materials, chemicals, glass, and fiberglass, on all legal and tax aspects related to the acquisition of a 50% stake in a joint venture company.
- Advising the owners of a leading manufacturer of premium cookware products, on the sale of the consumer products division of a German corporate group.
- Advising a sportswear brand in the acquisition of a sportswear technology creator of gloves, shoes and other outdoor apparel.
- Advising a Chinese manufacturer of motorbikes, also active in the mining and logistics industries, on their equity investment and joint venture cooperation with the world's third largest manufacturer of large yachts headquartered in Italy.
- Advising the selling shareholders of an Italian menswear luxury brand in the sale of the majority stake to a US Private Equity firm specialising in consumer brands and products.
- Advising a London-based sales platform and niche designer brands scouting consultancy on a management buy-out and related preferred debt and equity investment by a UK-based private equity firm.
