Ľubomír Brečka

I'm a counsel in our Corporate & Commercial and Banking & Finance Groups based in Prague.

My main focus is Corporate and M&A.

What I offer our clients is extensive experience in transactional work as well as corporate and commercial work, which spans across day-to-day corporate support, commercial and contractual advisory services to complex M&A transactions - mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, disposals, venture capital and strategic investors entries as well as financial aspects of the transactions e.g. financing, refinancing, debt financing and project finance related issues and complete post acquisition work. I am also responsible for representing our clients in dispute resolution cases should they arise from any of our corporate, commercial or financial matters.

The clients I support vary from local companies to large international corporations from manufacturing, retail & consumer, fintech, information technology, healthcare and energy industries. Most of our work has a cross-border element which makes me happy to work closely with our colleagues from within the network.

Before joining Bird & Bird I worked in a recognised local Czech law firm in Prague.
