I support a wide range of clients, from start-ups to major listed gambling operators, in relation to the issues they face in today's challenging and fast-paced regulatory environment. I have advised on some of the most high-profile enforcement cases carried out by the Gambling Commission in recent years and on a number of cross-border transactions involving some of the most well-known listed gambling operators in the world.

I have extensive experience in the gaming and gambling sector, having joined Bird & Bird in August 2022 from a specialist gambling regulatory law firm. My practice covers all aspects of British gambling regulatory law.

I have advised extensively on the legal classification of gaming and gambling products and I regularly advise clients on the process for obtaining a gambling licence in Great Britain - whether start-up businesses looking to obtain their first licence, or established operators looking to expand their product offering. I also offer practical advice on how to structure a product that falls outside British gambling regulation, and for licensed clients, I provide ongoing compliance advice that's commercially viable on any aspect of being regulated by the Gambling Commission.

As part of Bird & Bird's international gambling group, I'm also able to co-ordinate multi-jurisdictional gambling regulatory advice from across our international offices.
