I am an associate in the Milan Intellectual Property team, specialising in national and cross-border contentious matters related to copyright, image rights, plant variety rights, trade secrets and unfair competition.
My activity focuses on copyright and related rights, providing assistance in both contentious and non-contentious matters to clients across various sectors, including fashion and luxury, art, media, entertainment and new technologies, with particular reference to ISP liability, copyright levy, collecting societies, databases, AI, video games, works of art, musical works and publishing. I also advise clients on cultural heritage legislation and its close relationship with copyright and image rights.
With regard to image rights, I strive to protect clients' personality rights to the fullest, particularly concerning honor, reputation, and the right to be forgotten.
I regularly assist companies involved in the creation, development, and licensing of table grape varieties, particularly in litigation concerning the infringement of plant variety rights.
My international approach, matured thanks to my study experiences in the United States, as well as my internship at an American law firm in New York City, accompanies me in assisting cross-border clients who wish to enhance and protect their intellectual property rights.
I contribute to the Bird & Bird BrandWrites and MediaWrites blogs, as well as to the annual Round-up of National Copyright Decisions for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice by Oxford University Press.
