Marine Besson

Working as Counsel in our Corporate and Commercial Groups, my legal skills range from day-to-day corporate law to advising on commercial contracts and M&A transactions.

Since joining the firm in 2012, I have worked in French and English for local and international clients in a number of sectors, including the automotive, healthcare and life sciences, and new technologies industries.

My experience includes advising clients on a variety of commercial matters, drafting commercial agreements, and providing advice in their field of expertise (including regulatory aspects).

My scope of expertise comprises, in particular, procurement agreements, distribution agreements, IT contracts and commercial lease agreements. My field of competence extends to sale of business agreements.

I have been involved in a number of due diligence investigations and have experience in preparing reports which set out findings in respect of such due diligence investigations.

Before joining the team at Bird & Bird, I worked as a trainee with law firms and in the legal departments of Groupe SEB and Hermès International in Paris. I speak both French and English.
