Martina Fossati

I am an associate in the Intellectual Property department of Bird & Bird's Milan office and I deal with trademarks, designs and unfair competition.

I graduated in law from the University of Milan, enriching my studies with a semester abroad at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. This experience allowed me to broaden my cultural and professional horizons, immersing myself completely in a new culture.

After graduating with a dissertation in Intellectual Property Law titled "La tutela dei disegni e dei modelli non registrati" (The protection of unregistered design rights), I joined Bird & Bird in March 2021.

Since the beginning of my career, I have been passionately assisting Italian and international clients by providing them with support in the field of intellectual property.

I mostly deal with trademarks, designs and unfair competition issues both contentious and non-contentious.

I am a regular contributor to BrandWrites, Bird & Bird's blog that provides regular updates on trademark- related news. This keeps me up-to-date and allows me to share valuable knowledge with our clients.
