About Me

I am a restructuring, turnaround and associated disputes specialist. I represent a wide range of clients including corporates and financiers, state owned entities, funds, bond holders, investors, project sponsors, listed and private companies, boards, individual directors, trustees and external administrators in domestic and cross-border distressed, contentious, or non-distressed transactions, restructures, or disputes.

I focus on identifying opportunities to manage and leverage risk commercially and in doing so, regularly work with domestic and international colleagues in finance, corporate M&A, tax and related disciplines. My practice covers many sectors, but I have particular expertise across financial services, energy and utilities, infrastructure and construction, technology, aviation, and retail and consumer goods.
I have an Australian-based practice, which also reaches into Asia-Pacific jurisdictions and beyond. I work on mandates in various established and emerging markets and have undertaken restructuring assignments across ASEAN and in India, bringing to bear my deep understanding of how business is conducted throughout the region. I have also worked on restructuring mandates under the US Bankruptcy Code, overseen by the US Bankruptcy Court and the UK Companies Act.
I am a member of INSOL International, the Turnaround Management Association, the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency & Turnaround Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. I am a published thought leader in restructuring matters, regularly featuring in the Singapore Global Restructuring Initiative, the Journal of Corporate Renewal and the Corporate Rescue and Insolvency Journal.
I bring a considered and collaborative approach when advising on sensitive restructuring matters, and I am known for delivering solutions which achieve both strategic and commercial objectives.
