About Me

As an associate in our London-based Intellectual Property Group, I have expertise in a broad range of IP rights including patents, trade marks and designs, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector.

I have extensive experience in IP litigation in the UK, working on all aspects of cases at both High Court and Court of Appeal levels.

As part of my practice, I have developed a particular focus on co-ordinating and managing multi-jurisdictional intellectual property litigation. Spending over a year on secondment in the litigation team of an international pharmaceutical company helped me to gain an understanding and appreciation of the interaction between the 'big picture' commercial needs of clients and how legal strategy can assist in achieving these aims.

I take a particular interest in life sciences because I studied biochemistry at university, although my work has spanned a range of sectors including retail & consumer, media and food & beverage.

I also advise clients at in relation to other aspects of IP enforcement and protection, including drafting of commercial agreements and assisting in trade mark opposition matters.
