About Me

I'm a senior associate based in our Prague office, focusing on Privacy and Data Protection and International HR Services.

I joined Bird & Bird right after completing my law degree as I wanted to pursue my legal career in an innovative and technology-oriented law firm. This has given me a great opportunity to acquire broad experience in data protection and employment law matters.

In the area of data protection, I have been advising clients on privacy and data protection issues, including GDPR and ePrivacy compliance, negotiation of data processing agreements and handling cross-border data breaches. During my secondments to global clients active in the medical devices, consumer electronics and telco sector, I have acquired hands-on experience with advising the particular business lines and implementation of firm-wide privacy solutions.

Moreover, I support a large number of clients on a full spectrum of employment related issues from workforce restructurings, remuneration schemes, employee dismissals to leaving of senior level managers and executive directors. My employment related support further includes advising clients on implementation of newly adopted internal policies, working schemes, and incorporating relevant changes into the contractual documentation.

In recent years, we have experienced a steep increase of attention being paid to data protection, its importance and value across industries and the importance to regulate sensitive information related to individuals active and working in these industries. Having chosen to specialise in data protection and employment law, I find these two domains complementing and influencing each other. My existing experience and focus enables me to always bring an extra angle from which to address the challenges our clients are facing.

As Bird & Bird is a very CSR conscious firm, I have been lucky enough to dedicate part of my time to the provision of legal advice to pro bono clients.
