About Me

I am an associate in our Intellectual Property Group in Sydney. I help clients in building and protecting their brands, enforcing their IP rights and managing their IP portfolios.

I work with clients on all aspects of their IP including creation and enforcement of IP rights, portfolio management, and commercialisation and protection of IP. I also support clients in contentious IP matters, representing them in IP Australia and IP New Zealand oppositions and non-use proceedings as well as negotiating settlements and co-existence agreements.

I have previously worked in India with leading IP law firms where I acted for and represented domestic and foreign clients in the entertainment and media, FMCG, publications and technology sector in a variety of contentious and no-contentious IP issues. I have been part of complex litigations involving trade mark infringement, cyber-defamation, theft of proprietary information, fair use of copyrighted materials and intermediary liabilities.

Before joining Bird & Bird I was engaged in commercial litigation and corporate advisory at a highly specialised commercial law firm in Sydney where I worked on a substantial IP and media rights matter before the Federal Court of Australia.

As a result, I approach my matters with a strong commercial focus, a problem-solving mindset and appreciate the value in providing practical IP rights protection strategies.
