I am a Japanese-qualified bengoshi associate in corporate practice, based in our Tokyo office. I provide legal advice to clients across a diverse range of sectors, with a particular focus on technology, telecommunications, energy, public utilities, media, entertainment, and automotive industries.

I have extensive experience across various areas of law, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), competition law, intellectual property rights, fraud investigations, litigation, and bankruptcy. Over the course of my career, I have navigated complex legal matters, providing strategic advice and innovative solutions to clients across various industries.
In addition to my legal expertise, I bring valuable experience from a secondment with a major Japanese automobile manufacturer, where I advised on a wide range of legal issues, including cutting-edge technology and complex intellectual property matters. This experience provided me with invaluable insights into the Japanese automobile industry and reinforced my ability to offer practical solutions to both legal and business challenges.
Prior to joining B&B, I worked at a highly regarded Japanese law firm as well as a leading global law firm in Japan. My experience in both Japanese and international legal environments, combined with my Japanese background allows me to deeply understand the needs of Japanese clients. I am familiar with the unique business practices and legal frameworks of Japanese companies, which enables me to approach each legal challenge from a comprehensive, multifaceted perspective.
