About Me

Since 2024, I have been working as an associate in our International Regulatory and Administrative Practice Group in Düsseldorf. Here, I advise clients on the successful implementation of complex IT infrastructure projects in the public sector.

I focus on issues related to data protection, data security, and information technology law, in particular in the context of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, e-health, and e-government. I am particularly interested in how technological innovation can be integrated into our legal frameworks and what solutions can be developed for businesses and public sector entities in response to the rapid technological advancements. During my legal clerkship, I gained practical experience in IT law, especially through my work in the IT law practice group of a major German law firm.

My work primarily involves drafting and reviewing procurement and contract documents, as well as assisting with regulatory compliance. In a constantly evolving legal and technological context, I strive to develop pragmatic and future-proof legal strategies that not only comply with the regulatory framework, but also align with the technical and economic realities of each project.

My in-depth knowledge of international law, in particular in public international and European law, which I deepened during my LL.M. studies at Duke University, enables me to provide clients with comprehensive advice on European legal issues and to efficiently support cross-border projects. The increasing importance of international data protection and IT regulations requires a comprehensive understanding of the legal obligations under European and international public law and how they relate to each other and to national obligations. My international academic background allows me to bring this perspective to my legal practice.

In addition to my legal qualifications, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Political Science. My mathematical training helps me to quickly grasp complex technical issues and translate them into legal solutions. I particularly enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment and value collaboration across different fields to effectively bridge the gap between technical and legal requirements.
