Sophie Amalie Hein

I am an associate in our Danish Data Protection team where I advise on data protection and e-privacy matters.

I have experience within a wide range of data protection matters. Particularly, I have been involved in a large number of M&A transactions from a data protection angle.

Further, I have worked with clients in several different sectors allowing me to have an understanding of the sector specific data protection legislation.

I have practical experience with negotiating data processing agreements, drafting mandatory documentation in accordance with the data protection legislation and carrying out data mapping.

I focus on determining the end goal of our clients' inquiries to ensure pragmatic solutions to any issues which may arise.

I began working with data protection, when I was studying for my master's degree and wrote my thesis within the area as well. I have experience from both sides of the table after working at another Danish law firm, a large Danish publisher, and being expatriated to a Danish energy firm.
