EEG & More 2021

The German Energiewende – as we call the energy transition - is about to clear another milestone: An update to the iconic Renewable Energy Sources Act, also known by it’s German abbreviation EEG. We’d like to present to you our new video series as the German Federal Cabinet on 23 September cleared two important legislative proposals: Bill to overhaul the Renewalbe Energy Sources Act (EEG 2021), no surprisingly covering renewable energy, and Bill to update the Federal Requirement Plan Act (Bundesbedarfsplangesetz) to upgrade the power grids. In the next weeks and months we will provide updates on the EEG 2021 & more developments in short videos, including subject highlights, covering changes in the different renewable energy areas as well as implementation issues and ways to prepare for them.
