This year, we are hosting our 18th annual TechLaw Day event at the iconic St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on 10 December from 9:00 – 17:00 GMT. It promises to be a day filled with updates, insights, and conversations about significant technology trends and their interplay with legal developments.
As technology-driven change continues to reshape our world at ever-increasing speed, we’ll be looking at how innovation and adoption of technology are being met with increasingly substantial - and varying - regulatory responses. We’ll be looking at a number of case studies and lean on the experience of complex organisations to explore how we might prepare for and respond to both the technology and regulatory elements of this cycle.
Although some future-gazing is a must at the Bird & Bird TechLaw Day, this year we will be looking in particular at how our muscle memory, developed through decades of technology and regulatory (r)evolution, can help us in 2025, as major pieces of regulation are implemented, and innovation continues apace. In the face of what can sometimes feel like an avalanche, it’s worth remembering that this is not our first rodeo!
An outline of the programme can be seen below.
Formal sessions will end at 17:00, and we hope that you will be able to stay to join us for drinks and networking.
