HR Data Essentials: What you need to know

Data protection in the HR space is a progressively complex area to navigate. Data protection and privacy considerations are increasingly key to the daily functions of your HR, Human Capital and Talent teams, who will be managing significant amounts of staff personal data, often in sensitive circumstances.

That, combined with ever evolving uses of new technologies in the workplace, means it is crucial for HR teams to understand the key requirements under data protection law and for Privacy teams to understand the influences of employment law on the processing of HR data. Understanding data protection legislation in the context of employee management is challenging for HR and Privacy practitioners alike, and getting it wrong can have significant consequences.

We are delighted to invite you to join us for our annual HR Data Essentials online event on Tuesday 10 September 2024. Experts from our International Privacy & Data Protection and HR Services teams will update you on developments and will consider the hot topics to provide you with analysis and top tips for tackling key data-related issues in employment and help you understand how to manage HR data from every angle. You can see the full programme below.

These events are principally aimed at HR, privacy and legal teams, but our sessions should also be of interest to anyone with responsibility for people and data protection issues in their organisation.

Please RSVP with the button below, we hope to see you there.
