Bird & Bird advises 8.2 Consulting in their expansion into the UK
Bird & Bird LLP has advised German company 8.2 Consulting AG on the establishment of the London based joint venture 8.2 Aarufield Ltd. with the British offshore wind consulting company Aarufield.
Bird & Bird's international team advised 8.2 Consulting AG on the structure of their participation in the new joint venture, including the corporate, joint venture and financial agreements under English law.
Aarufield Ltd. is a financial advisor for major projects in renewable energy focusing on offshore wind. Although only founded in 2015, this consulting company has already established itself as a significant and firm global player in the financial centres of the London and the European offshore markets. 8.2 Consulting has been active for many years as a technical advisor for international customers in the on- and offshore industry, and has been ranked, once again this year, by independent German sources like "brand eins Wissen" and "Statista", as being among the best technical advisors in the field of renewable energies in Germany. With their new partner Aarufield, 8.2 Consulting now enters the UK offshore wind market, one of the most important in Europe.
