Bird & Bird launches new app to guide clients through all stages of the employment relationship

International law firm Bird & Bird today launches a new app, named Employment Law Zone, designed as a digital encyclopaedia to guide organisations through the essential legal information they need when employing people locally or on a global scale.

The Employment Law Zone app is a useful tool for HR professionals and in-house legal counsel who need an overview of international employment law, covering recruitment, the employment relationship, terminations and litigation. It provides up-to-date information to ensure that the business is HR compliant, whilst also giving users the opportunity to stay informed by subscribing to regular newsletters.

The app currently includes eight countries: the UK, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Sweden and Australia. Other jurisdictions will also be added in due course pending national employment law developments, including the implementation of labour changes in France.

James Froud, partner in the International HR Services group at Bird & Bird says: "Our clients often need to understand the employment law landscape in multiple countries, so we set out to create an easy to use reference guide providing essential legal information on the employment lifecycle in key business territories. The app delivers this at their fingertips, wherever they may be."

The app is available on both mobile phones and tablets, and requires iOS 7.1, Android 4.1 and Windows 10 or later.

It is available to download from the Apple Store, on Google Play and the Microsoft Store
