International law firm Bird & Bird welcomes Rameez Rahman, who joined the Dutch Intellectual Property team as a patent attorney on 1 October.
Rameez joins the firm with over four years of experience in patent prosecution, most recently at a prominent independent research organisation in the Netherlands focusing on applied science. He has extensive experience preparing and supporting multijurisdictional patent assertion and litigation. In addition, he has a strong scientific background with a PhD from TU Delft in computer science. Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Rameez spent over 13 years working as a software engineer and researcher, amongst others at Nokia Bell Labs Antwerp.
