International law firm Bird & Bird has advised World of Women (WoW) on its move to join the Tezos ecosystem.

WoW is the brand behind the iconic World of Women and World of Women Galaxy NFT collections, championing the representation of women in pioneering spaces. Its members include digital art collectors, Web3 builders, entrepreneurs, artists and supporters of WoW’s mission to build an inclusive future.

Tezos is an open-source, self-amending blockchain network that facilitates decentralized applications and finance. It stands out for its on-chain governance model, which allows all stakeholders to participate in its evolution, and is designed to use less energy than similar systems.

As part of the Tezos ecosystem, WoW is set to raise the bar on what’s possible for women in the digital age, offering a place for women to secure funding for their visions, support among peers, and access to opportunities and experiences made possible by the WoW brand and its prominent partners. This partnership is seen as a significant step towards achieving mass adoption of Web3 by ensuring women play a crucial role in shaping its inclusive future.

The Bird & Bird team was led by Corporate partner Adam Meisels and Corporate senior associate Will Holder and included Corporate associates Tamara Akl and Caitlin Cowan, Tax legal director Simon Gough and senior associate Andrew Rink, and Commercial partner Will Deller.

Adam Meisels, Corporate partner commented: “We are delighted to have played a role in this important strategic transaction. The integration of WoW into the Tezos ecosystem will benefit WoW in their mission to promote greater representation of women in the digital ecosystem. This deal demonstrates Bird & Bird’s expertise and experience in both the space and in working with organisations seeking to improve representation across society."
