Bird & Bird strengthens its management team in Denmark with two new appointments

International law firm Bird & Bird kicks off 2025 with two new appointments to its management team in Copenhagen, with the appointment of Inneke Padilla Wolthoorn as COO in Copenhagen as of 1 January 2025 and Charlotte Bøgeskov, who has joined as Finance Manager.

Inneke Padilla Wolthoorn has a long career behind her, most recently as Head of Global Mobility at Arla Foods. She was previously a senior lawyer at Bird & Bird, a lawyer at Kromann Reumert and a consultant at EY.

Charlotte Bøgeskov brings more than 15 years of experience from EFFEKT, Intertrust Group, EY and KPMG, among others.

Inneke and Charlotte join the existing members of the Danish management team, head of country Casper Moltke-Leth and co-head of country Peter Dann Jørgensen.

Casper Moltke-Leth, managing partner at Bird & Bird Denmark, says: ‘With the hiring of Inneke and Charlotte, we turbocharge Bird & Bird's strategic growth ambitions. Year after year we have grown and increased our revenue, and with our new visionary leadership team we are ready to raise the bar further and set even more ambitious goals.’

Peter Dann Jørgensen, co-head of country, continues: ‘Bird & Bird has a great culture that we cherish, and which is crucial for us to deliver the best advice to our clients; creating a workplace that we can be proud of and that reflects the times. That's why we are also very conscious of getting the right people on board, and we are happy to wait for the right match. Both Inneke and Charlotte have proven their ability to lead and implement strategic initiatives, and their leadership will help drive the company's growth and innovation forward. We are very pleased to welcome them both.’

Inneke adds: ‘It's a great feeling to return to the legal profession, and Bird & Bird in particular, after four years in the industry. Bird & Bird is unique with its focused specialisation, international foundation and outlook, and constant focus on a sustainable culture. I am very much looking forward to starting in my new role and, together with the rest of the team, setting the ambitions and creating the framework for the law firm of the future.’

Charlotte says: ‘I am very much looking forward to using my experience to strengthen the company's development and support Bird & Bird's growth plans. I am proud to join the management team and further shape Bird & Bird's unique company culture for the benefit of both employees and clients.’
