International law firm Bird & Bird advised Bpifrance's SPI 2 fund on its participation in the €23 million fundraising round for French climate tech start-up Khimod, which specialises in the development of low-carbon synthetic molecule production and CO2 recovery technologies.
The financing was provided by Bpifrance's SPI 2 fund and Audacia's Calderion industrial decarbonisation fund, alongside Alcen, a long-standing shareholder.
With this new funding, the French climate tech company, founded in 2019, aims to deploy several industrial demonstrators, strengthen its production capacities and expand its activities in France and internationally.
