As a partner in our International HR Services Practice Group, my ambition is to provide pragmatic advice that solves our clients' issues and allows them to achieve their goals. My particular focus is on international technology-strong businesses. In addition to my daily practice I am a member of the German Management Team.
I provide legal advice ranging from day-to-day HR questions to complex employment law projects. My most recent experience includes several restructuring projects, negotiations with works council and assistance with the subsequent implementation.
One of my specialisms is collective employment law. Dealing with works councils requires more than just legal advice. Especially for international clients it is most important to understand the concept of a works council-employer relationship in order to succeed in daily dealings and special negotiation situations with works councils. I have extensive experience helping companies with their works councils and can also guide you through the cultural differences of labour relations to achieve practical solutions for both parties.
Due to my sector specialisation in technology and communications, I also regularly assist our clients in national and cross-border transfer of business / outsourcing projects. This includes co-determination of works councils, support with the drafting of HR-related clauses for purchase and service agreements as well as the practical implementation of those projects. On cross-border projects, I also take care of the project planning and co-ordination of advice by our colleagues in various countries.
In addition to my employment practice, I regularly assist clients with global mobility issues, including international employee posting, immigration requirements to work in Germany and related social security questions.
Outside my legal practice, I enjoy giving workshops and presentations on various topics of German employment law.
