Bird & Bird advised Gerard Daniel on the acquisition of Rhodius KMS

International law firm Bird & Bird advised Gerard Daniel Worldwide, Inc., a portfolio company of US private equity funds Graycliff Partners providing wire mesh and filtration solutions across the globe, on the acquisition of the knitted wire mesh and separation (“KMS”) division of insolvent Rhodius GmbH, from insolvency administrator Joachim Exner.

With this strategic acquisition and addition to the group of companies, Gerard Daniel expands the manufacturing capabilities, global footprint, and engineering organizations. KMS is one of the leading European suppliers of separation products and knitted wire mesh components, which are used in many industries, including the growing Hydrogen-related markets for fuel cells and electrolysers.
