Alejandra Vicario

I am an associate in Bird & Bird's Regulatory & Administrative department in the Madrid office.

Since joining the firm, I have advised on a wide range of regulatory matters, mainly in the pharmaceutical, energy and environmental sectors.

My experience focuses on advising pharmaceutical companies in the healthcare sector on various regulatory issues, particularly in relation to medicinal products and medical devices. In addition, I provide guidance on administrative procedures, particularly in the processing of clinical trial applications.

I am also actively involved in public procurement issues, drafting legal reports and providing support to private entities in the different stages of the procurement process. This includes the management of tendering processes and the challenging of awards before Administrative and Judicial Courts.

I also have experience in environmental law, especially in matters related to sustainability, waste production and management, extended producer responsibility and circular economy.
