Ana Lois

I am a senior associate in Bird & Bird's Commercial/Dispute Resolution department of the Madrid office.

I have experience in the management, legal advice and legal defense of Spanish and international companies in the resolution of all types of judicial and arbitration proceedings in civil, commercial and contentious-administrative matters.

I advise on a recurring basis clients from different sectors such as construction, banking and finance, distribution, technology and transport, helping them to make decisions in conflict situations to prevent litigation and assisting them before the courts of justice in all types of instances. I also have experience in disputes arising from corporate, insolvency or unfair competition disputes, as well as in various disputes before the Administration and public sector entities.

I am also experienced and regularly participate in national and international arbitration proceedings.

In addition, I am a member of the Spanish and Iberoamerican Arbitration Club (CEIA) and of the Spanish Business Litigation Club.

Outside the firm, I am a member of 'Women in a Legal World (WLW)' (a non-profit association that aims to promote female talent within the legal sector), and of the 'Asociación Multisectorial de Mujeres Directivas y Empresarias (AMMDE)'.
