Andrew Cox

I am a commercial associate based in our London office. I support clients in the media, entertainment and sports sectors, advising on a wide array of transactional, commercial and regulatory issues.

I trained with Bird & Bird and have spent time working within our commercial, intellectual property, corporate and disputes practices. My experience includes advising on gambling and media regulatory issues, enforcement and litigation of a range of IP rights, affiliate marketing structures, service agreements, licensing deals and corporate due diligence exercises.

Many of the clients I work with need solutions that are relevant to their operations worldwide and I enjoy partnering with colleagues across our network of international offices to provide that global perspective.

I have spent time studying in Hong Kong and have also previously worked for a legal tech company in Melbourne. I am a regular contributor to our Media Writes news hub and co-wrote the Expert Analysis chapter on 'Copyright and Artificial Intelligence' for the International Comparative Legal Guide - Copyright 2022.
