Conchita Sainz

I am the head of the Real Estate practice group in the Madrid office.

With 18 years of experience on the real estate sector, I typically act for national and international investment funds and corporations on all their real estate investments in Spain.

I have extensive experience in real estate which covers the whole real estate life cycle including: land, construction, urban planning & licences, leases, acquisitions, real estate asset management, real estate finance, sale & leasebacks and disposals of all types of real estate assets: logistic warehouses, residential (including build to rent transactions), hotels & leisure centres, shopping centres, street retail, office buildings, new real estate trends (student housing, co-living, nursing homes, supermarkets, schools, data centres) as well as NPLs and REOs portfolios.

I have built a strong network of clients and industry contacts who regard me as an effective communicator who is adept at multitasking.

I have a reputation for successfully completing transactions, adding value on the deals whilst maintaining a strong client focus and a commercial approach. I do really enjoy my work and help the clients meet their business needs.

I often work collaboratively with my international colleagues on pan-European projects. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked at another two global law firms.
