As an experienced competition lawyer, I advise our clients on all aspects of EU and German competition law and related regulatory issues. My practice focuses on obtaining merger clearances from national and international competition authorities, facilitating corporate cooperation such as R&D cooperation, and representing clients in any kind of competition litigation. I have extensive experience in litigating cartel damages claims before German courts.
In my still rather young career, I've had the chance to work on several landmark cases. These include, among others, obtaining merger clearance in a major phase II merger control proceeding before the European Commission (M.8674) and defending a European truck manufacturer against cartel damage claims before German courts following the EU Truck Cartel (AT.39824). In further cases, I gained special experiences in the life sciences and chemical industry where I advised on merger control matters, the formation of joint ventures, the implementation of distribution systems as well as in the context of cartel proceedings including internal and external investigations.
